I have dined at the finest restaurants the Dallas Metroplex has to offer, and when it comes to Italian Food it is hard to find any better than Carrabba's. I stand by comment that they are an excellent choice.
The other evening we decided to try "The Olive Garden" in Frisco. "We" in deciding means my wife said lets' eat at Olive Garden, and me saying, "Yes Dear".
Well it had been several years since we last had tired the Olive Garden, but the decision "we" made to give it a try was a very pleasant suprise. for us.
It started with the excellent server, Michael, he was attentive, and very helpful. He was not pushy, he was helpful, there is a difference. We first tried their "house" wine, great choice, and an appetizer of stuff mushrooms and calarmie.
It would not be fair not to mention the bread sticks. Sounds like a small thing to mention breads sticks, but these are not just bread sticks, the are Olive Garden bread sticks.
OK, time to select an entree. A difficult choice because there are so many excellent choices. After much consideration I selected the "Seafood Portofina"
Mussels, scallops, shrimp and mushrooms with linguine in a garlic-butter wine sauce.
A choice I would highly recommend.
I can think back as to how I felt eariler in the day when I gave my normal, "Yes Dear", answer to my wife of 41 years when She suggested the Olive Garden. Something that I had learn many years ago, Yes Dear, is one of the best answers a Husband can give. Besides she loves "Mike's Subs" so Her dining choices are are not so bad.
I highly recommend you try The Olive Garden on Preston Rd in Frisco, and ask for Michael as your server.
