Barack Hussein Obama:

By Howard Galganov
Montreal, Quebec, Canada

When Obama won the presidency with the help of the leftist media, Hollywood and entertainment liberals, ethnic socialists (ACORN), stupid non-business professionals and Bush haters, I wrote: It won’t take six months until the people figure this guy out and realize how horrible a mistake they’ve made. And when they come to that realization, the damage to the United States of America will be so great it will take a generation or more to repair – IF EVER.

The IDIOTS who not only voted for the messiah, but also worked hard to promote his lordship, are now left holding the bag.

Here are two things they will NEVER do: they will NEVER admit to making a blunder out of all proportion by electing a snake-oil salesman with no positive social history or management experience of any kind. They will NEVER take responsibility for the curse they’ve imposed upon the immediate and long-term future of their country.

In essence, the people responsible for putting this horror show in power are themselves responsible for every cataclysmic decision he makes and the consequences thereof.

In just six months, the messiah’s polls are showing the following: on Healthcare Reform, he’s going under for the third time with polling well under 50 percent, even within his own party. Even though he might be able to muscle a Healthcare Reform Bill by using Chicago bully tactics against his fellow Democrats, it will just make things worse.

On Cap and Trade (Cap and Tax), the fat lady is already singing. On the Stimulus Package (Tax and Spend), his popularity is in free fall. On the TARP package he took and ran with from President Bush, it’s all but Good-Night Irene. On the closing of GITMO and “his” war on what he no longer wants called the War On Terrorism, he’s standing in quicksand with his head just about to go under. On a comparison between himself and George W. Bush at the same six months into their respective first term presidencies, Bush is ahead of him in the polls. On a comparison between “he who walks on water” and the 12 preceding Presidents between WW II and now, Obama ranks 10th. On a poll just conducted, that asks who would you vote for today between Obama and Mitt Romney, it’s a dead heat. Between Obama and Palin, Obama’s only ahead by 8 points and she hasn’t even begun to campaign!

It seems to me that Obama wants to be everywhere he shouldn’t be. He’s personally invested in totally insulting America ’s only real Middle Eastern ally ( Israel ) in favor of Palestinian despots and murderers. He’s traveling the world apologizing for the USA while lecturing others on how to do it right, when in fact and truth he has no experience at doing anything other than getting elected.

He went to the moslem world in Egypt to declare that America “is not a christion nation” while he heaped praises on Islam, where he compared the “plight” of the Palestinians to the Holocaust.

The Russians think he’s a putz. The French think he’s rude. The Germans want him to stop spending. The Indians want him to get his nose out of their environmental business. The North Koreans think he’s a joke. The Iranians won’t acknowledge his calls. And the British can’t even come up with a comprehensive opinion of him. As for the Chinese, he’s too frightened to even glance their way. (After all, China now owns a large portion of the United States .)

Maybe if America ’s first emperor would stay home more, travel less, and work a little bit instead of being on television just about everyday (or forget about his Wednesday date nights with his amazon wife) or stop running to “papered” Town Hall Meetings, perhaps he would have a little bit of time to do the work of the nation.

In all fairness, it wasn’t hard to be right in my prediction concerning Obama’s presidency, even in its first six months, so I’m going to make yet another prediction: OBAMA WILL PROBABLY NOT FINISH HIS 4-YEAR TERM, at least not in a conventional way.

He is such a political horror show, and so detrimental to the USA and his own Democratic Party, that the Democrats themselves will either force him to resign or figure out a way to have him thrown out. Who knows, maybe he really isn’t a born US Citizen and that’s a way the Democrats will be able to get rid of him.

Or, more likely than not, the Democrats will make Obama THEIR OWN LAME DUCK PRESIDENT.

I don’t believe the Democrats have nearly as much love for their country as they do for their own political fortunes. And with Obama, their fortunes are rapidly becoming toast.

The Democrats can keep on blaming Bush for everything, but that game’s already begun to wear real thin.

Their mantra was “WE DON’T WANT 4 MORE YEARS,” which the STUPID people bought, since McCain was nothing at all like George W. Bush. The new mantra will soon become: “WE DON’T WANT 6 MORE MONTHS.”

Here is my personal review of Saltgrass: North Dallas Parkway, 972/781-2202

My Wife put it best when she said, “Saltgrass, is a Family Friendly Restaurant.”

I share her thoughts, and I would add the service is good, and the food is excellent to the taste. All I had to do is look around at the many families that made the Saltgrass their dining choice, and the quality of the meals said the rest.

Additionally they they honor Seniors by allowing them to price off the “lunch menu” untiil 7:00pm

I would highly recommend Saltgrass. Tell them you heard about them from the Dallas Web Directory News and Review.

A little about the Restaurant:

<img src="/sglogo.gif" alt="" hspace="10" vspace="5" width="500" height="92"border="0" align="center" />

The Saltgrass Legend goes back to the mid 1800s, when millions of Longhorns roamed freely throughout Texas. With the taste of beef becoming a newfound favorite in the North, Texas ranchers prospered as never before.

Each winter the Longhorn were driven to the Texas Gulf Coast to graze on the rich coastal salt grass. And when they headed for market, they followed the legendary Salt Grass Trail, known far and wide for the best beef in the whole Lone Star State.

In 1952, this historic trail ride was revived by four riders to publicize the opening of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Today, the ride has become an annual celebration of that original Texas spirit. The first Saltgrass Steak House still stands along this historic trail.

Saltgrass Steak House recaptures the flavor of the open campfire. Steaks, chicken, and seafood, chargrilled to perfection. Complete with breads, soups and desserts, made from scratch daily.

What is the opinions on which car is best for the money. That is a tough question because the best bang for the buck is without question the Porsche. Still if you can not afford the price tag then it is not the car for you. However if you can afford the price tag it is definately the car for you. Then the Dealership for buying a Porsche is .Broadwalk Porsche </give them a call or better stop buy and take a test drive. Then decide for yourself.

I now have offer my thoughts. At the bottom of this page is a “comment” area, I would like your thoughts.

T.O.M.

Your question about picking the stocks. My selection was made based on a conversation with a friend of mine that trades a few stocks. I had asked if there was any “oil” stocks that he followed and he mentioned the two stocks. They appear to be good stocks, and I trade stocks when I feel there is a major shift in the direction of the underlining commodity. In this case Crude Oil.

I have a background in commodity trading going back to the 60’s, and registered as a broker in 73′. The majority of my trading is long term focused because I am retired, and I have no interest in spending the time that is required to do short term trading. As you see from my earlier comment I turned Bullish in Dec 98′ crude was under $20.00, and then turned Bearish July 2008, crude was $145/147 level.

Because the price swings in commodities can be so large, and options are expensive plus short term (compared to owning stock). So I look at stocks the way many traders look at options.

My view at this time on Crude Oil prices remain netural with a bearish bias. Much of my attention is on the dollar, and effects of the Governement decisions as they impact the Dollar and Fundamentals. The effect of the new adminstration, and their changes to the base laws of supply/ demand are something that makes price forecasting difficult for ol guys like me. My years of study has been based off a different model than are Country is currently moving. At the same time levels where prices become deeply oversold or overpriced are relevantly easy to see, and worthy of a stock position. Returns like last year are nice, but new tax laws may make traidng less attractive for amounts over some amount.

As for your Silver and Gold question. I had bought Gold one time around the $250 then dumped it long before it crossed $1,000, but following a good gain I have not traded Gold for the past several years. My view, on Gold, is that it is highly speculative, and follows the dollar. To risky for a old guy. I still maintain my orginal position in Silver with appx a 4.35 average. Silver is about the only thing I still am holding as a hedge against the dollar.

Other than that I feel it is a good idea to be 100% debt free, and being selective when putting any money at risk. “At risk”, includes but is not limited to the Stock Market.

I am sorry I can not give you the technical buy and sell points like many techs can, but I am more of a fundamental trader. I defer your question, if technical, to “Trades”. I nice person and a person that has always shown a willingness to help those that ask.

I was asked about a comment made Feb 1st. It would make more sense to explain.

Comment from me: “Here are a couple of stocks I will share with you. By the way I have not looked at their charts, but I like the Companies. Permian Basin Trust = (pbt) and Linn Energy = (line)”

Question (screen name T.O.M): “I see that one of those stocks made over 400% and the other one over 300% in a couple of days after you mentioned them. How do you know this a few days ahead of time. Will stocks continue to go down for a while. I like gold and silver what about those”.

Response from the person he asked thaniking the comment about the stocks were from him: “The original post you are referring to was from Insider (me). He is the one who mentioned those two stocks responding to a post of mine on Crude. He did this last year at this time also on energy stocks and was also very correct on the stocks he mentioned along with the group. He tends to be a longer term trader and his expertise is fundamentals on specific markets. Not a day trader or swing trader from what I have seen”.

With this as a background for the question my answer to his question can be found by clicking on “A Response to a Forum Question”

Are you looking for a fabulous salon experience? That’s what Charlie Price, owner of Hair by Charlie, calls it…an experience. “People can get service at any salon,” says Charlie, “but here, we want you to have a great experience from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out.”

Free consultations are offered to potential clients. Charlie explains that the purpose of these consultations is to find out what brought people in the salon. “What do you want that maybe you didn’t get elsewhere?” Plus, these professionals will offer suggestions based on their extensive experience.

The beautiful salon is located on McKinney Avenue and definitely has an Uptown vibe. The walls are an inviting shade of lilac adorned with white baroque mirrors. In addition to Charlie, there are five other talented stylists. Charlie says, “I wouldn’t hire anything less.”

When asked what he loves most about his chosen profession Charlie replied, “I’ve been doing this for 14 years and it’s still fun. Every day is fun!”

If you want to have fun with Charlie or any of his staff (plus get an amazing salon experience), you can make an appointment by calling 214-303-1799 or by visiting Hair by Charlie.

Hair by Charlie, 2906 McKinney Ave., Ste. 100, Dallas

A business arrangement between a longtime golf pro and the city of Richardson has come under fire from a small group of residents. They allege that the city is paying the pro too much and providing lax oversight of the golf course he manages.

In response to critics, city officials provided financial information about Sherrill Park Golf Course and Ronny Glanton, who is contracted to run the facility.

They say the contract has been mutually beneficial and that Glanton’s $335,000 salary in 2006-07 did not come from taxpayers and was justified.

Richardson’s contract with Glanton is similar to those at other area golf courses, including Dallas’ five public courses.

Under the contracts, the pros remit green fees to the cities and a cut of other revenue, but keep a majority of ancillary revenue from the courses.

City officials say the contracts give the pros an incentive to generate traffic at the courses through events and tournaments – an incentive that is needed in North Texas’ competitive golf environment.

At the same time, city maintenance of courses keeps them in good condition for golfers.

“It is by far and away the most effective public-private partnership we have ever had,” said Barbara Kindig, Dallas’ assistant director of park and recreation. “It is really a great program.”

But some residents say that the city could keep more revenue if it ran the courses itself, rather than having a revenue-sharing contract with a pro. They say Glanton’s salary is far higher than what the city should be spending.

“Why would you pay someone that much?” said resident E.A. “Mac” McDowell, one of a group of residents who contacted media to complain about the arrangement. “I’m not saying they’re dishonest. I’m saying they’re not very smart.”

Glanton said that in good years, he is able to pay himself well. But his pay is lower in other years when, for instance, fewer people golf, equipment must be replaced or a storm causes damage that must be repaired.

“My income fluctuates depending on volume,” Glanton said. “When rounds are way down, I take a hit.”

Critics note that the city has not audited Glanton’s books, nor has the contract been competitively bid.

City Manager Bill Keffler said the city periodically conducts spot checks of cash register receipts. He said bidding the golf contract wouldn’t be to the city’s advantage, citing Sherrill Park’s reputation.

“If all of my metrics say I’ve got the best municipal golf course in the area, why would I want to do that?” Keffler said.

He and Assistant City Manager David Morgan said that the course is able to generate enough revenue to cover all services the city provides, including course maintenance and roughly $600,000 a year in debt payments for course improvements.

Morgan said Glanton gave the city an accounting of his finances in response to questions from James Mallett, the resident who initially brought the issue up with city officials. Under the contract, the city receives 10 percent of gross sales from the pro shop, the restaurant and cart rental. Glanton keeps revenue from the driving range and from lessons, while the city keeps all green fees.

In 2006-07 – one of Glanton’s better years – the course generated about $1.3 million in revenue for Glanton. From that amount, Glanton paid his employees and himself, bought food and equipment, paid for utilities and gave Richardson its commission.

The city received about $2 million in course revenue that year, mostly from green fees.

The cut Richardson receives is higher than the Dallas contracts, in which the city receives all green fees but nets only 1.5 percent to 9 percent of other course revenues, depending on the course.
