Patty and I have worked for others businesses for years when reaching a time in our lives that the prospect of retirement was looking dim. The idea of working until we were to old to enjoy each other, travel, golf, cards, feeding our swans. In other words being in control of our time.
Our choice was to look into building a business that would be ours to manage rather than manage us. While providing the income that would provide the financial freedom we desired. The path of building a business is full of pitfalls, followed by success for those that are willing to stay the course. Part of our business is like any successful business and that is helping others through products or service. Patty and I feel that we offer others the benefits of our experience as guides to help others, just like you, achieve financial independence.
We built our business part-time while continuing our careers – Rusty as a sales manager for an accounting software company, Patty as a registered nurse and pediatric case manager. “One of the keys for me,” says Patty, “is that building a business is the most fun I’ve ever had working at anything. It’s great helping people and when you see others that we are helping come along and really grasp the concept, that is so rewarding! I’ve never done anything more rewarding or exciting than building my own business.” Adds Rusty, “The other people who have achieved success building a business have been my mentors, people I looked up to so much. Like my old job, building a successful business network is very people oriented and has a goal of helping others.”
It is our goal to expand our business by being mentors to others, and offering a helping hand.

Enclosed is my 2003 Form 1040, together with payment. Please take note of the attached article from USA Today archives. In the article, you will note that the Pentagon paid $171.50 each for hammers and NASA paid $600.00 each for toilet seats.
Please find enclosed in this package four toilet seats (value $2,400.00) and six hammers (value $1,029.00). This is in payment for my total tax due of $3,429.00.
Out of a sense of patriotic duty, and to assist in the political purification of our government, I am also enclosing a 1.5 inch Phillips head screw, for which HUD duly recorded and approved a purchase value of $22.00, as my contribution to fulfill the Presidential Election Fund option on Form 1040.
It has been a pleasure to pay my taxes this year, and I look forward to paying them again next year in accordance with officially established government values.

It is difficult to recommend one menu choice over the other because they are all excellent. One choice that my family enjoyed was Blacken Cod. Hard to argue it was great. My personal choice was the prime steak, and for me to say any steak is good is rare because I am a beef lover and very critical of how it is prepared. Other than my Son’s cooking I have never tasted a better prepared steak.
